PDF Diva is a free, open-source desktop app for presenting PDF files. It is built to work completely offline.

What PDF Diva collects

Nothing. PDF Diva:

What stays on your computer

PDF Diva saves a few settings on your computer so it remembers them next time: what each monitor shows when you present (with the monitor's name, size and position, as the system reports them), the theme, the language, and the folder of the last PDF you opened, so the Open dialog starts there. It does not keep a list of recent files. The settings are stored in your user profile, next to the technical caches that the app's rendering engine creates, which contain no personal data and nothing from your PDFs. None of this ever leaves your computer.

On Windows, uninstalling the app removes it. On macOS and Linux, uninstalling leaves the settings folder in place; delete it to remove them: `~/Library/Application Support/PDF Diva` on macOS, `~/.config/PDF Diva` on Linux.

PDF Diva only opens the PDF files you choose. It does not copy, change or upload them. Passwords for protected PDFs are kept only in memory while the PDF is open and are never written to disk.

Links

The start screen has a link to the project page. If you click it, it opens in your web browser, and the website's own privacy policy applies.

Where you download the app

PDF Diva itself collects nothing, but the place you download it from may collect data under its own policy:

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be published here with a new date. The full history is in the project repository.
